It all started with a backpacking trip through Europe.

I was raised in a small Texas town, without much exposure to travel. Yet I always possessed a deep curiosity about the world around me. Before my senior year in college, I traveled through 9 countries in Europe with a dear friend. 

It is no exaggeration to say that trip changed my life.

From that point forward, I knew I wanted to live a life of adventure, purpose, and freedom- and my mission became inspiring & teaching others how to do the same.  

For more than 2 decades, I have been a business owner and entrepreneur in the wellness field, teaching people how to live richer, fuller lives through nutrition & fitness, as well as how to start businesses to create more freedom and choices.

I moved to New York City during that time and pursued a dream career as an International Travel Journalist, where I worked with brands like AFAR Media and Travelocity. I was traveling 250-280 days a year globally, and I loved every minute of it.

When I decided to start a family, I chose to transition from the travel industry and focus on my wellness business, as I became a mother and raised my 2 children. 

During that time, I delved deep into my own financial education. I had always been strong in areas like budgeting and saving, but I realized I was never taught about topics like investing and tax strategy, and I lacked confidence and knowledge in those areas. I knew that if I wanted to teach my children things I was never taught, I first had to take the time to learn.  

Through this process, I knew that I was called to teach and empower others financially, with education around growing wealth, tax strategy, investing strategies and how to better diversify assets. I got licensed as a financial professional and have been working as a Financial Educator and Wealth Strategist since.

The travel industry called me back in 2025, this time as a Travel Designer and Planner.  I founded LUXE ADVENTURE CO, a boutique agency aligned with the esteemed Virtuoso Network. and my focus is where Luxury & Adventure Travel collide.  I am so grateful to help people create some of their lives' richest memories and experiences through travel.

So, there you have it:  TRAVEL. WEALTH.  WELLNESS. These are the three pillars of my brand, and the three things I believe comprise a life well-lived.
