For years, I felt competent with aspects of managing my money, and completely overwhelmed with others.
I was confident when it came to topics like saving my money and following a budget. But other topics like investing, tax strategy and compounding wealth totally overwhelmed me.
I had created the story that certain aspects of personal finance and wealth building completely overwhelmed me.
Then, I became a mother. And I realized that if I wanted to teach my kids differently about money than how I was raised, I had to change that story I held. It was time to get off the sidelines and into the game.
That hunger to learn led to journey of self-education, and then a desire to teach others, particularly women. As I started having more conversations, I realized so many women needed help in this area. And when a woman gets empowered financially, she positive affects her entire family & future generations to come.
I got licensed as a Financial Professional in 2022 and worked exclusively with one-on-one clients for several years, with the mission of making financial conversations & learning about money more approachable and simple. Now, my goal is to positively impact more families through online education and easily-accessed programs and courses.
